A New Direction

Skills for Solano's Future

I'm running for the Solano Community College Governing Board, Trustee Area 4, because I believe in what community college can do for a life — I've lived it, and I've taught it. As a former college instructor, I've stood in front of classrooms full of young people figuring out their first step and adults rebuilding their careers from scratch. As a Pell Grant recipient myself, I know firsthand that higher education only works as a ladder of opportunity if it's actually accessible — not just in theory, but in cost, in flexibility, and in whether the training on offer leads somewhere real.
